Welcome!
This is an invitation to paint in community, with a no pressure, all are welcome, come anytime kind of vibe.
I am your host: my name is Sharon and I am a painter and an East End resident. I have been recently begun painting sunsets and sunrises in watercolor and I thought it would be fun to invite people to join me - so I am. There will be no formal instruction, but all questions are welcome and I hope that the group - including myself - can offer all that is needed.
You can come and paint, or you can come and watch. You can paint the sunset, or paint something else. Bring your own supplies and a chair or blanket to sit on.
I think we should all do more art - it’s good for us. And it’s good practice to make it about having fun - that’s it. Just art for fun.
This will happen on Tuesday evenings, approximately half an hour before and after sunset. I will update the details on this page - so check here if you want to know the meet time and location (it will change as the sunset time changes), or if we are cancelling for weather.
NEXT PAINTING SESSION: Tuesday, June 23rd, 7:45 pm. Across the street from the East End School, in the grass and on the benches next to the lupin field.
Join the mailing list if you like - I will use that to announce news or changes, and also to send an invitation to participate in a show of our work (everyone who participates will be invited to show work) in the fall at the Munjoy Hill Neighborhood Association. Hope to see you at sunset.
